Teaching in slums & on the streets we provide health care, vitamins, food, & menstrual hygiene training and kits as part of our process. We believe self sustainability can be achieved and the world changed one educated child at a time.

Our Volunteers Have the Power to Impact Each Child’s Future.
Many charities see expeditions and volunteering as money making opportunities and charge thousands to “help out”. Since our 501C3 charity has all volunteer management we don’t need to. Our overhead is very very low with only local teachers being paid. Working with Eternal Hope International is like working with family and we don’t charge family to help.
We have group expeditions where you cover your airfare ($700-1200ish depending on time of year) daily personal expenses of food and lodging ($30-35) while we work together educating children in fields and on the streets, supporting impoverished schools, delivering needed notebooks, hygiene kits, and school supplies, and performing outreach or medical care to needy communities followed by some really cool sight seeing that you will never forget on the roof of the world. Nepal has the eight talles mountains in the world.
Or if you have skills we can use and a willingness to share them we can tailor an individual or special group experience like we did Amanda here in June of 2019.
We would love to have someone teach hair cutting, acrylic nails and care, carpentry, martial arts, sewing and so many other things that can help the community thrive.
On average including airfare, charity work and site seeing it will cost about $1900 to travel to Nepal for two weeks.
We love volunteers from other charities and World Link Partners who you will see at the bottom of this page has been an amazing partner in the effort for good and making a difference in the lives of these children.
Our Top Priorities
While we do quite a bit more than what we have listed below these are the priorities that drive us every day to make a difference in the lives of these children and their families. We have started women’s literacy training as well.
Children's Education
Everything changes when a child is educated and can get a job for more than $1 a day. They can take their place in society independently and feed a family and in turn educate their children. This is how we break the generational cycle of poverty.
health
nutrition
Children are stunted in places like Africa and Nepal where 66% are undernourished and considered well below normal for height and weight. We work tirelessly to get them vitamins and calories needed. We are seeing great results as we give half doses of adult vitamins overseen by doctors.
Skills Training
While children are in school we try and teach them skills that they can use in their community. Sewing, mechanics, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.
Mentorship
Our program designed by a Cornell professor places students as apprentices for a period of time to see if they like the field of study and then they have a mentor in the work field they choose in the future.
$20 A month
Sponsor a child’s education & have a personal relationship with their future.
Sponsors get monthly (often more) updates via Facebook (keeps overhead low for us) of their sponsored child and activities. You will get personal messages from them, be instrumental in giving them an education, health care, food, vitamins and have the opportunity to meet them if you come on an expedition with us (subject to our child safety policies all our visits are supervised by Eternal Hope International Staff).
